Challenges
This project involved a 29 acre brownfield site in the market town of Malvern. It was a large site which had been allocated for care home development in the local plan. The site was acquired unconditionally for a private company.
The challenge was to bring together two different end users, a housebuilder and a care operator, to create a mixed-use development to satisfy the planners. Affordable house residential and care home uses are often compatible neighbouring uses.
Outcome and Sale
Both parcels of land were sold simultaneously by Prime Land Consultants, subject to planning, to a national housebuilder and national care home operator.
