Affordable Housing Land Acquisition
A land trader contact had acquired this site with a view to selling it on.
We had identified this as a site suitable for social housing for a block of 40 flats.
This was a brownfield site, an old Bingo Hall with planning consent for flats which had expired.
The site was acquired by a design build contactor client who then did a ‘turnkey’ deal with a local housing association. We brokered a deal which brought both parties together. A quick planning consent was obtained in under 6 months. The site had been acquired off-market.
