Project Brief

We were asked by a client to secure sites in Edinburgh for mainstream housing.

This was an infill site bought off market for our client.

Site owner had applied for an outline consent. Through our planning application intelligence, service we were alerted to the site.

We contacted the landowner and brought in one of our clients for the site, Park Lane, who tied up a conditional missive, a contract to purchase the site subject to detailed planning permission. This was all achieved off-market.

Challenges

There was competition for the site because it was located in a sought-after area of Edinburgh, but our client was able to move quickly and make a competitive offer based on an unusual design.

Outcome

The site was purchased following the receipt of detailed planning permission and other necessary consents.
