Project Brief
Redevelopment of old public house and car park for 24 social housing units. Site acquisition within 8 months of identifying the site.
Remit
We were asked to secure sites for social housing in the area.
Challenges
Although a tight brownfield site with access issues, there was a narrow time window of 6 months to secure planning consent.
Outcome
All hurdles overcome remarkably quickly in this period as the Council was funding the development. Property offered for in September & planning permission secured in March for social housing for Clyde Valley HA in association with Wilson Developments through our QS contact Munro Chartered Surveyors.
